the best time to shoot from an aircraft is when the sun is about 20 degrees above the horizon.
Avoid FAA fines. Be certain that the pilot and the craft is properly licensed. Be certain any needed permits for where and the type of fight is appoved.
Cost, different techniques and equipment have different costs. Not doing the job may be a greater cost yet.

HELICOPTERS
Typically costing more than a plane however unlike a fixed wing aircraft a helicopter can flight lower than 1000 feet in populated areas. Helicopters have the ability to fly at higher altitudes and stay airborn longer than a drone. A photographer can have the direct contact with the camera, offering a feeling of greater control.

Airplanes compared to drones can can legaly go higher, and a planes range is much greater, thus covering large tracts of land faster. If hand held equipment is use a high wing aircraft is recogmented so the wing is not obstructiing the view.
Avoid vibration, window frame to avoid shaking caused by the airstream. avoid the camera touching any part of the plane to avoid transmitting the vibration. Windows glass may present the problem of glare, open the window if possible, Shoot at a high shutter speed, such as 1/1000 of a second, gyro stabilizer.

This number includes both fixed and variable costs such as insurance, hangar space, maintenance, fuel, repairs, oil changes, landing fees, cleaning costs, etc. The purchase price plus debt service must be added to that figure. Price of purchasing a Cessna? Cessna 150 used could be $14,000 where as a new Citation Longitude would be greater than $25 Million.
I visited the local southern New Jersey airports to acquire direct knowledge from pilots. The answers I reived thus far is "I remember when..." therefore it is safe to assume that real estate photography in Southern New Jersey has gone to the drones.

Reating or leasing is possible and incomparison very practical
